Discover Shuttleworth, home to a world-renowned Collection of airworthy aircraft dating from 1909 to the 1950s. See many of which are the sole surviving examples of their type, including the world’s oldest airworthy aircraft. See live work taking place on maintaining these incredible machines in our Engineering Workshop. Explore Clayton & Shuttleworth Ltd heritage machinery, veteran cars, classic motorcycles, bicycles, and vintage buses. Stroll through Swiss Garden, a Regency garden designed in the ‘Swiss Picturesque’ or ‘Alpine’ style. Admire this RHS partner garden and part of the Grade II* registered park of Old Warden. The site also features a live grass airfield, the Runway Café, and a gift shop. Just off the A1 near Biggleswade, Bedford. 1.5 hour drive/1 hour train from London.
