What to expect

Learn the fundamentals of spearfishing through private, hands-on instruction in the waters of Aguadilla. Whether you're booking solo or with friends and family, your experience is tailored to your skill level. All equipment is provided.

You begin with a safety briefing, equipment demonstration, fish identification lesson, and an overview of local fishing regulations so you can understand which species can be legally and responsibly harvested. You'll then learn snorkeling and breath-hold diving techniques, including breathing, equalization, duck diving, finning, and underwater awareness.

Once prepared, you'll enter the water for a guided spearfishing hunt, receiving personalized coaching on fish behavior, hunting strategy, stalking, and shot placement. After the hunt, you'll learn how to properly scale, gut, and clean your catch while discussing ethical harvesting and conservation practices. Perfect for beginners looking to learn the sport safely and effectively.

Guests interested in taking their skills further can also inquire about your advanced two-day spearfishing course for more in-depth training and skill development.
