    Pico Ruivo

    Admire the sunrise at Pico do Arieiro and hike the iconic PR1 trail to Pico Ruivo, the highest point in Madeira. An experience that combines the colors of the morning with impressive mountain landscapes, tunnels, and panoramic views. After sunrise, hike autonomously and at your own pace, following to Pico Ruivo and then along PR1.2 to Achadas do Teixeira. The route is approximately 8–8.5 km and normally takes between 3 and 4 hours. We handle transportation, with pickup at meeting points in Funchal and return at 12:00 at Achadas do Teixeira, near the entrance of Mountain Spot Café. The trail access ticket is included. The day before the activity, you will receive confirmation of the meeting point, the pickup time, and the driver's details. For those coming from outside Funchal with their own vehicle, we can indicate a meeting point with free parking.
