• Arusha (Pass by)

  Day 01 Arrival in Arusha and Optional City Discovery Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK), you'll be warmly welcomed by the team and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. Depending on your arrival time, you may enjoy an optional Arusha city tour, with opportunities to visit the Cultural Heritage art gallery, explore local markets, and browse the vibrant Maasai Market for unique Tanzanian souvenirs. Spend the remainder of the day relaxing at your hotel and preparing for your upcoming Great Migration safari. Activities: Airport pick-up, hotel transfer, and optional Arusha city tour. • Tarangire National Park (Pass by)

  Day 2 After breakfast, depart from your Arusha hotel at approximately 8:00 a.m. with your professional safari guide and travel to Tarangire National Park. Enjoy a thrilling game drive through open savannah, acacia woodlands and seasonal swamps along the Tarangire River, renowned for its large elephant herds and diverse wildlife. Look out for elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, impalas, buffaloes and, with luck, lions and leopards. Bird enthusiasts will also enjoy the park’s remarkable variety of resident and migratory species. Around midday, enjoy a picnic lunch at Matete Picnic Site, surrounded by the sights and sounds of the African wilderness. Continue your afternoon game drive before departing for Karatu in the late afternoon.   Day 03 Ndutu Calving Safari and Transfer to Central Serengeti After an early breakfast, travel to the Ndutu region, renowned for its spectacular Great Wildebeest Migration calving season. Enjoy a game drive across the open plains, searching for wildebeest, newborn calves, zebras, gazelles, and predators such as lions, cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas. Pause for a picnic lunch in the bush before continuing your afternoon game drive, exploring the region's wildlife-rich grasslands and seasonal lakes. In the late afternoon, begin your transfer from Ndutu to the Central Serengeti. The journey takes several hours, depending on road conditions, wildlife sightings, and your chosen route. Enjoy scenic views and possible wildlife encounters along the way before arriving at your camp or lodge in the Central Serengeti for dinner and an overnight stay. Explore the vast savannah in search of wildebeest herds, zebras, and gazelles, alongside predators such as lions, cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas. During the calving season, you may witness newborn wildebeest and the dramatic interactions between predators and their prey. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush before continuing your afternoon game drive through these remarkable landscapes, with plenty of opportunities for wildlife photography and unforgettable encounters.   Day 05 Ngorongoro Crater Big Five Safari After an early breakfast, depart the Serengeti and travel towards the spectacular Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend approximately 600 metres into the Ngorongoro Crater for an exciting game drive through one of Africa's richest wildlife habitats. Explore the crater floor's grasslands, woodlands, and wetlands in search of the Big Five: lions, elephants, buffaloes, and, with luck, leopards and the endangered black rhino. You may also encounter hippos, hyenas, zebras, wildebeest, and abundant birdlife. Enjoy a picnic lunch at a designated scenic spot before continuing your wildlife adventure. In the afternoon, ascend the crater and drive to Karatu, where you'll check in to your lodge, enjoy dinner, and relax overnight.
