What's Included
Meeting and pickup
Please meet us at Muelle Fiscal, located on the waterfront (Malecón) in downtown La Paz, Baja California Sur. Your Alba Expeditions guide will be waiting for you at the entrance to the dock to welcome you and assist you with boarding. Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled departure time.
What to expect
Departing from La Paz, we'll explore the open waters in search of incredible marine wildlife, including mobula rays, dolphins, sea turtles, whales, and other pelagic species.
Throughout the adventure, your marine biologist guide will share fascinating insights into the animals' behavior, ecology, and conservation.
When wildlife behavior and sea conditions allow, you'll have the opportunity to enter the water for a responsible snorkeling encounter, observing marine life in its natural habitat.
**Important:** Swimming with whales is not permitted in Mexico. If we encounter whales during our safari, we will observe them exclusively from the boat, following Mexican whale-watching regulations and maintaining a respectful distance.
Every safari is different, making each expedition a unique opportunity to discover the extraordinary biodiversity of the Sea of Cortez.
At Alba Expeditions, we prioritize small groups, safety, and responsible wildlife interactions. All encounters take place on the animals' terms, and sightings or snorkeling opportunities cannot be guaranteed.
