Our guide will pick you up at your hotel. Please note that if your hotel is outside Providencia, Las Condes, Vitacura or Santiago municipalities, we may ask you to meet your guide at a closer meeting point.
We'll start with a unique breakfast at a Mapuche coffee shop. Here you'll get to try wheat coffee or Maqui hot chocolate (our favourite!), and some delicious treats! Afterwards, we'll be walking up the hill to experience this beautiful urban park, where Santiago was founded, experience beautiful views of the city and get to know some of the local flora
We'll use this park as a leisurely walkway towards the market
We'll stop here to experience this beautiful building as we get to know some of Chile's incredibly varied seafoods
Visit the main square in the city with an optional walk inside the Cathedral. Here we will also discuss some of our most famous street food: Completos and Empanadas, and take you to one of Santiago's most traditional "fuentes de soda" to try them out.
We'll stop at La Moneda, our house of government. Here you can appreciate the fantastic views of the civic neighbourhood
We will visit the memorial outside this memory centre, where we discuss Chile's recent history and how it has impacted current society.
We finish the tour by visiting our favourite brew-pub. Chile has fantastic wines, but we also make fantastic beer (and Gin, who knew!). After walking around the city, we deserve to sit down, taste a flight of their flagship beers accompanied by some pub nibbles, and its a fantastic opportunity to wrap up the day, in this beautiful, bohemian area. Afterwards, if you feel like going up to the beautiful Cerro San Cristobal (part of the largest urban park in Latin America), we can walk you to the funicular entrance. Otherwise, we'll take you back to your hotel.
