  In the morning guide and driver will pick up you from your accommodation place in Tbilisi and from there you'll start your journey. Travel will be by comfortable car on the road which connect middle and south part of Georgia (by countryside). Then head towards Javakheti, known as the south of the Georgian Medieval Kingdom, where castles and monasteries steel keep enormous cultural and historical legacy and wealth. from Tbilisi to first landmark will take 90 minutes drive

  Driving to and after Tsalka (Khrami) Reservoir will take 60 minutes. From your car will rise up sceneries with mountains peaks 2700 to 3300 mt altitude, also you will see lakes, like Tsalka (Khrami) Reservoir, which was build to purpose was to obtain electricity. Around lake is couple villagies with multi diversity nationalities groups, Georgians (Javakh's and Svan's) also, Azerbaijanian's, Armenian's and Greek's, also there is a village nearby called Trialeti which was founded by German colonists it in 1858. It was called Alexanderhilf (renamed to Rosenberg in Soviet times). There were other German settlements like this in Georgia and Azerbaijan numbering 12 thousand inhabitants by 1914.

  Tsalka and near villagues now calls also as a Greek ghost town in Georgia. The ancestors of today’s Greek community in Tsalka and nearby came from the Kars region in Turkey, settling here in 1828-29.

  Paravani Lake

  Your first stop is lake Paravani. it's volcanic and one of the largest lakes in Georgia, located in Javakheti Plateau between Abul-Samsari and Javakheti Ranges. It’s on 2100mt altitude. its great place to enjoy with landscape and making incredible pictures for memories.

  From Paravani lake in good weather you can see mount Didi Abul. Javakheti highland near Paravani is a mountainous terrain at a height of 2000 metres above sea level in the center of which a big Abul mountain (3301 m) can be seen from every side.It's one of the highest peak of the Lesser Caucasus Mountains in the nation of Georgia.

  After 15 minutes drive you will reach Poka convent monastery. Church is example of Georgian architecture of XI century - the hall type Church of St. Nino. The church was built of neatly cut square stone blocks. Monastery life: The nunnery makes particular contribution to education of the completely non-Georgian local population. Extra lessons are conducted for the school pupils in Georgian language and literature, geography and English. Since the foundation of the nunnery great attention is paid to agricultural activities and animal farming. Throughout the first years the large share of work was directed towards learning the traditional agricultural activities such as grain-growing, crop growing, management of gourd field and greenhouses, cow farming. Also nuns produce candles, cloisonne enamel, cheese, confectionery products and cookery - There is small shop where you can buy those products with nice branded packages

  Continue your ride to cultural heritage site Vardzia, It was the endowment of King Tamara built during the period between XII - XIII centuries, with its and her father monumental paintings in the years the reign of Golden age of Georgian kingdom. Here you will observe caves and will do short hiking round trip. all road and time spending in this area will take 4 hours

  Next stop is overlook on Khertvisi historical fortress which located on the rock between two rivers Mtkvari and Paravani, historically it was strategic place for control south part of Georgia. Drive to 20 minutes, walk around 10 minutes

  Rabati Castle

  On the last stop you will explore the Castle Rabati with unique museum exhibitions and religious temples such as a a mosque, and ruins of Islamic education center, old manuscripts, archaeological artifacts, ethnographic objects, collection of old carpets and more. Drive to castle will take 45 minutes. Spending time 15 minutes
