What to expect
Try an electric bike if you're looking for a fun, relaxed way to cover lots of ground. You don't even have to pedal as you tour the sights of Santa Barbara. This is an easy way to see lots on a bike even if you're not an experienced rider.
Mountain bike aficionados will find much to love in the rugged terrain of the Santa Ynez Mountains surrounding Santa Barbara. Choose between XC and All-Mountain bikes. Get recommendations for trails and oceanside parks to check out on your bike. Additional equipment such as a bell, tool kit, air pump and riding pedals are all available free of charge.
Hybrid bikes offer the perfect ride for seeing as much of Santa Barbara as possible. These bikes give you the quickness of a road bike, plus the comfort of a city bike. All have a granny gear or triple to make going uphill easier, and most also have a carbon fork for a lighter, more stable ride.
Keep your chosen bike for 1 or 2 days so you can explore Santa Barbara at your leisure.
