Summit, Ally Pally Rooftop Adventure

Summit, Ally Pally is London’s newest rooftop adventure and the UK’s highest roof walk. Set on Alexandra Palace's iconic roof, this guided experience lets you climb an authentic palace, connect with over 150 years of history and see London from a completely new vantage point.

Your visit starts at the Summit reception, where you meet your Climb Guide. Once you climb internal stairs to the beautiful Rose Window balcony, you will complete a short safety briefing and be fitted out with a harness. Your guide will help attach you to the safety system, where you follow a specially designed route up onto the roof. As you climb, your guide shares stories about the history of Alexandra Palace.

The route leads you towards the roof apex and the Angel of Plenty statue, where the views open up to a 350-degree panorama of London. There is time to pause, enjoy the skyline and capture photos before making your way down.

Choose from daytime, sunset and 'London Lights' (night-time) climbs. Designed for ages 8 and over, Summit feels adventurous yet family-friendly, with a steady pace, expert guides and all equipment included.
