Come and explore the stunning Saariselkä tundra on an exciting ATV safari.
Ride across the open fells and through the beautiful Arctic landscapes surrounding Saariselkä, following trails that take you away from the usual roads and into the heart of Lapland’s wilderness. The safari takes you through varied terrain, with spectacular views of the tundra, forests, rivers and ponds along the way.
There is also a good chance to spot local wildlife while exploring the peaceful surroundings.
During the safari, we will take a break in nature and enjoy hot beverages before continuing our adventure.
A fantastic way to discover the vast Arctic landscapes of Saariselkä and experience the freedom of exploring Lapland by ATV.
What's Included
Meeting and pickup
The meeting place will be at the Lapland Welcome Safari Office, Kelotie 1, Siula House. Meeting time is 15 minutes before the starting time of the safari.
What to expect
There is a good chance to see wild animals on this tour. Barbeque lunch is offered during the safari. We have got something to eat for all food cultures and tastes.
An all-terrain vehicle (ATV), also known as a quad, quad bike, three-wheeler, four-wheeler, or quadricycle is defined by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) as a vehicle that travels on low-pressure tires, with a seat that is straddled by the operator, along with handlebars for steering control. As the name implies, it is designed to handle a wider variety of terrain than most other vehicles.
The rider sits on and operates these vehicles like a motorcycle, but the extra wheels give more stability at slower speeds.
Return transfers from your hotel, guiding, helmets, fuel, insurance and light barbeque lunch are all included to this trip.
