  The Voortrekker Monument

  Step into one of South Africa’s most iconic heritage sites on this tour to the Voortrekker Monument for a guided tour, set majestically atop a hill just outside Pretoria. You’ll explore the monumental granite structure which honours the pioneering journey of the Voortrekkers between the 1830s and 1850s. Inside, admire the vast Hall of Heroes, home to the world’s largest marble frieze depicting the Great Trek in 27 panels — a striking visual narrative of history.
