4Itmad-ud-Daula
Itimad-ud-Daulah Tomb is a beautiful Mughal monument located in Agra and is often called the “Baby Taj” because of its delicate design. It was built between 1622 and 1628 by Nur Jahan in memory of her father Mirza Ghiyas Beg. The tomb is made of white marble and decorated with intricate marble inlay work and colorful semi-precious stones. Situated on the banks of the Yamuna River, it is considered an important example of early Mughal architecture and is believed to have inspired the design of the Taj Mahal.
