Get ready for an unforgettable day of exploration in one of Tasmania’s most iconic destinations! Discover Cradle Mountains Dove Lake with a full day tour designed for small group adventure. This tour is a great introductory walk to the park.
Begin the day with convenient pickups from 7.30am, travelling in comfort and into the heart of Tasmania's rugged wilderness. a short stop in the mural town of Sheffield. Continuing on to the World Heritage site of Cradle Mountain we pass the dramatic gorges and lush rainforest setting the scene for the day ahead.
Once at Cradle Mountain, travel down to the stunning Dove Lake to enjoy a fully guided 6klm hike, taking in the unforgettable views of the mountain itself along with the unique flora and fauna of the Ballroom Forest, Glacier rock and the Boat Shed.
With expert commentary, small group experience, and a delicious lunch included, this tour is the perfect introduction to one of Tasmania’s most cherished natural landscapes.

Meeting and pickup
Please be ready at your pickup location at least 10minutes prior to the start time. Wear warm clothes suitable for the weather and comfortable shoes for the hike. Bring small bag/backpack for the day. A good level of fitness is required to complete this circuit for your own safety. It is at the discretion of the tour guide to deny a passenger participation due to the physical demands of the walk. Should this be the case, the passenger will be transferred to participate our other day tour - The Park Explorer. This tour operates in all weather conditions, unless cancelled by the tour operator. Wind, rain and snow can occur anytime of the year.
