What to expect

Driving to The Mustang a high altitude desert is uncharacteristic of others in Nepal due to the nature of the landscape which is barren, desert-like with organs like cliffs. It is windy and elevated and an extension of the Tibetan plateau as it borders Tibet. The crops are mainly buckwheat, barley, and apples. Once a kingdom, it still boasts of a king and palace. Tibetan culture and religion is predominant here. One can explore ancient cave monasteries. The region is also famous for Muktinath, a pilgrimage site revered by Buddhists and Hindus alike.
We start our journey from Kathmandu till Tatopani- a natural hot spring, from Beni till Muktinath is the rough and tough road which makes driving more thrilling and memorable.
