Welcome to Tokyo, Japan!
At Tsukiji fish market, about 460 street food stalls are waiting for you.
Tsukiji is a heaven for Japanese food, but the problem is that there are so many stalls (and some of them offer the same type of food) that it is difficult to find really delicious Sushi, Ramen, Wagyu, Sake, Mochi, Matcha.
Some of them are very wonderful, but some are not so good in quality. And several stores also offer touristy prices.
And when you arrive at Tsukiji, you will be disappointed to find long lines of people waiting in front of many stalls.
But don't worry!
We have tried, compared and evaluated food from many stalls.
If you have been on group food tours, you have probably experienced long waits for food you did not want to eat. That's why we offer private tours.
Anyway, we hope you visit nice tourist spots around the market. As the professional tour guides, we would like to take you there.
We will meet in the Caffe Veloce Tsukiji, near to Tsukiji station of Hibiya line. Station ID is H11(Hibiya11).
After meeting at "Cafe Veloce Tsukiji", let's discuss what you would like to eat. And first, we will take you to Tsukiji Hongwanji Temple, just a short walk from the cafe. In Japan, most Buddhist temples are made of wood, but the architectural style of this temple is very unique. It is rare in Japan, but the exterior is made of stone like other Asian temples. Once inside, however, you will notice that the building resembles something you know!
Next, we will move on to the Tsukiji Fish Market, right next to that temple. In addition to authentic Japanese sushi, ramen, tempura, Japanese curry, Sake, Japanese beer, Matcha sweets, Mochi, and more, a variety of local foods await you. Japanese knives, Japanese tea, and tableware are also available as souvenirs, if you need.
A 10-minute walk from Tsukiji Market will take you to Hamarikyu. Hamarikyu is one of Tokyo's representative Japanese gardens. However, because it faces the sea, seawater is unusually drawn into the park to make it look like a river. Here, for an extra fee, you can experience drinking real matcha tea.
