    Your first stop will be Swaminarayan Akshardham temple epitomizes 10,000 years of Indian culture in all its breathtaking grandeur, beauty, wisdom and bliss. It brilliantly showcases the essence of India’s ancient architecture, traditions and timeless spiritual messages. Akshardham temple where architects have achieved the zenith of carving to induce life in every piece of stone. This temple complex, Heralded by the Guinness World Record as the World’s Largest Comprehensive Hindu Temple, the complex was inaugurated on 6 November 2005. The beautiful mandir built without steel consists of 234 ornately carved pillars, 9 ornate domes, 20 quadrangle shikars, a spectacular Gajendra Pith (plinth of stone elephants) and 20,000 murtis and statues of India’s great sadhus, devotees, acharyas and divine personalities. The mandir is a fusion of pink stone and pure white marble, where pink stone symbolizes bhakti in eternal bloom and white marble that of absolute purity and eternal peace.

    Gurudwara Bangla Sahib

    Next visit Gurudwara Bangla Sahib which is a Sikh Temple located in the heart of the Capital City. It is one of the most important & Sacred Sikh Shrine visited by thousands of followers and tourists from all over the World. The temple can be recognisable by its golden dome & tall flagpole, The grounds include the Gurudwara, a kitchen, a large (holy) pond, a school, and an art gallery. As with all Sikh Gurudwara, the concept of Langer (Community Kitchen) is practised, and all people regardless of race or religion may eat in the Gurdwara kitchen (langar hall). The food is prepared by gursikhs who work there and also by volunteers who like to help out. At the Gurdwara, visitors are requested to cover their head and not to wear shoes. Anyone can volunteer in the Gurudwara.

    Finally visit The Laxminarayan Temple (also known as Birla Temple) is a Hindu temple dedicated to Laxminarayan. Laxminarayan usually refers to Vishnu, Preserver in the Trimurti, also known as Narayan, when he is with his consort Lakshmi. The temple was constructed by an industrial Raja Baldev Birla & was inaugurated by Mahatma Gandhi in 1939. With a condition that the temple would not be restricted to the Hindus but people from every caste, creed & country would be allowed inside.
