Our tour offers a thrilling and immersive winter experience right outside of Fairbanks. Unlike typical sightseeing, you'll actively explore Alaska’s pristine backcountry by snowmobile, guided by a local expert who will first teach you how to safely operate your machine. Then, you're off to ride through a breathtaking winter wonderland—crossing frozen rivers and lakes, weaving through snow-covered trails, and taking in the stunning mountain scenery around the Chena Lakes Recreation Area near North Pole, Alaska. It's an unforgettable adventure you won't find anywhere else.

What's Included
Meeting and pickup
You MUST arrive 30 min before your tour time for your safety briefing & gear check. IF YOU ARE MORE THAN 10 MINUTES LATE, you forfeit your tour & will be ineligible for any refund. Directions: Take Nelson Road to Lyle Avenue. Do NOT take Conifer Drive, as this road is unmaintained.
What to expect
Embark on an unforgettable snowmobile adventure through Alaska’s stunning winter landscape. Ride across frozen lakes and rivers, navigate scenic mountain trails, and explore the vast, untouched wilderness of the Chena Lakes Recreation Area. Along the way, you may catch glimpses of local wildlife, including moose, foxes, and snowshoe hares.
After your exhilarating journey through Alaska’s backcountry, relax and warm up with complimentary hot chocolate, tea, coffee, and snacks.
Important Information:
*Please arrive on time for your tour.
*Clothing is not provided – come dressed appropriately for the weather. We recommend Alaska Element for affordable clothing rentals.
*Double rider bookings must be made in pairs of two. If your group has an odd number, one person must book as a single rider and pay the price difference.

- Guests must arrive at least 30 minutes before the scheduled tour start time for the mandatory safety briefing; arriving later (for example after 9:30 for a 10:00 tour) will result in forfeiting the tour and you will not be eligible for a refund. Safety briefing, gear check & helmet fittings will be conducted before each tour.
- Drivers must be at least 18 years old & hold a valid driver’s license (international licenses are accepted). Individuals aged 7 to 17 may ride as a passenger only.

- This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
