What to expect

4:50 PM – Check-In at Ecotours Office.
5:00 PM Meet your guide and fellow guests for a brief, engaging talk on sea turtle biology and conservation. Restroom access available before departure.

5:45 pm Transfer & Beach Walk
Enjoy a short drive, followed by a gentle 10-minute walk (under half a mile) along the beach. Learn about the local coastal environment and mangroves from your guide.

Arrival at Sea Turtle Camp
Get introduced to the camp and ongoing conservation efforts like nest monitoring and hatchling care.

Sunset Turtle Release
At sunset, join our biologist for a special moment: helping baby turtles safely reach the ocean.

7:15 PM – Return to Ecotours Office
Drive back to the office. Restrooms and transportation arrangements available upon return.

  • Public transportation options are available nearby
  • Infants are required to sit on an adult’s lap
  • Suitable for all physical fitness levels
  • All participants must be able to walk 1 mile in total on sand and loose gravel.
  • If there are no baby turtles on the day of your tour, our sales staff will contact you to re-schedule your reservation.
  • Parents will assist children under 7 in carrying a coconut to the sand, where they will release the hatchlings into the ocean."
