The tour includes visits to some volcanic cones, old and young lava flows, fossil beds, rift zones, prismatic basaltic outcrops among other geologocal features. Tour also includes equipment to enrich your experience and help you to observe the other Islands within Madeira archipelago.
The tour is easy, accessible to most people and made at a relaxed pace in small groups, normally of 8 people and some sections out of the beaten track. Our guides are all naturalist guides or biologists.
On this tour pickups are included for hotels located in Funchal, Caniço, Santa Cruz and Machico. All other locations should head to one of the meeting points in Funchal or Santa Cruz (Garajau)
