Stoked Surf’s mobile surf school offers a hassle-free, tailored surf experience. We pick you up from the city in our fully equipped surf van and take you to the best beach for the day’s conditions, ensuring an optimal learning environment.
Whether you're a beginner or an intermediate surfer, our experienced coaches will customise the lesson to match your skill level. We provide high-quality gear to keep you comfortable in the Atlantic waters and capture action shots of your session, so you can relive the stoke long after your lesson.

What's Included
Meeting and pickup
You'll be collected from your accommodation provided you're based within 5 km of the Cape Town central city area. If you're staying outside of the city area, we'll advise where we can easiest collect you. The following is the pick-up schedule for our morning and afternoon lesson slots (please note the suburb your lodging is located in to determine your approximate pick-up time): Camps Bay: 8:00-8:15am OR 1:00-1:15pm City & Sea Point : 8:15-8:30am OR 1:15-1:30pm Green Point: 8:30-8:45am OR 1:30-1:45pm Woodstock: 8:45-9:00am OR 1:45-2:00pm Observatory: 8:45-9:00am OR 1:45-2:00pm
What to expect
You'll be collected from your city accommodation by your private surf coach in our comfortable, fully equipped surf van. From there, you'll be transferred to the beach with the best conditions on the day. Your surf coach is also a certified tourist guide, making the journey more than just a ride—it's an experience in itself!
Upon arrival, we'll get you suited up with the right gear before heading to the sand and sea for a 1.5-hour private surf lesson. We’ll provide a hooded changing towel to make getting in and out of your wetsuit a breeze.
Never surfed? No problem! Your experienced coach will guide you through the basics, ensuring a fun and safe introduction to surfing. If you're an intermediate surfer, let us know when booking so we can plan.
While the surf lesson lasts 1.5 hours, the full experience typically runs 3.5 to 4 hours, including transfers, changing into and out of gear, and the return trip to the city.
