  Pick up from your location at (7:00 Am) and Drive to Tarangire National Park. The Drive will take roughly 30 to 45 Minutes. Arusha National Park is divided into three, distinct districts: Mount Meru, Momella Lakes, and the Ngurdoto Crater. Firstly is Mount Meru, a perfectly-shaped volcanic cone sporting a majestic crater that dominates the park. This spectacular mountain is located in the centre of the park, near the town of Arusha. Next, as you head east of Mount Meru, you’ll find the Momella Lakes, a series of small, alkaline lakes that attract migrating water birds. Finally, South of the Momella Lakes is the fascinating Ngurdoto Crater, also known as ‘little Ngorongoro’ thanks to its plethora of wildlife. These three areas form a lopsided triangle that is just waiting to be explored!

  Enjoy a game Drive in search of wildlife. You will find a lot of mammals here. This park has one of the highest concentrations of giraffes in Tanzania, so they will be very easy to spot. Besides giraffes, elephants, zebras, buffalos, and hippos will be visible easily too. Wildebeests visit this park as well, but they are only seen occasionally. The park’s main attraction when it comes to wildlife is the Colobus monkey. While Leopard, Cheetahs, Hyenas, and Wild Dogs have been recorded here, it will be extremely difficult to find them. For bird lovers, the lake here provide you with an opportunity to spot a variety of birds. Geese, hamerkops, grebes, herons, lesser and greater flamingoes, pelicans, and hornbills will be found near the lake. Birds of prey like eagles and the beautiful secretary birds can also be spotted easily. Optional Walking Safari Going out for a Optional walking safari in the Park is a great option as the concentration of predators is very low.

  Visit Ngurdoto Museum Near the Ngurdoto Forest, we will pause at the Ngurdoto Museum with its rich collection of the park’s animals, birds, and insects. This will give you a highlight of what to expect in the park

  With safari you have an option of going Canoeing at lake Momella Canoeing in Lake Momella is a popular activities. Lake Momella actually refers to a collection of seven shallow lakes within the national park. The ride will take about two to two and a half hours and you will be rowing your own canoe. Your guide will be present next to you in his own canoe. During this activity you will get a look at the hippos, bushbucks, buffaloes, giraffes, etc. You will also be able to spot birds like herons, flamingoes, and grebes. Water birds like to collect around the lake and feed on algae present in it.
