This tour will take you from your hotel in Marrakech and introduce you to the desert, villages and the mountainous regions of the great Moroccan Sahara. On this tour, you will experience high mountain passes where views will be witnessed across several miles, Kasbahs, a camel trek in Merzouga over the Erg Chebbi Dunes.
There is nothing more spectacular than an overnight stay in a Bedouin desert camp. This will allow you and the shared party you are with a chance to stargaze into the sky, watch the sunset and rise when on a camel ride and see hundreds of Kasbahs.

1Tizi n Tichka
Your 4 days Morocco desert tour from Marrakech departs from your hotel or riad by winding up through the Atlas Mountains over the Tizi N’ Tichka Pass, the pass rises to 2260 meters above sea level, so the views are quite splendid. Plenty of stops are made for taking in the scenery and photography.

2Ait Ben Haddou
We will continue driving In the South to visit one of the Kasbahs there ( time permitting ) before we carry on to Ouarzazate and to the UNESCO world heritage site of Kasbah Ait Ben Hadou. The fortified village is one of the most visited landmarks in Morocco, and it has been long known as the shooting location of various Hollywood blockbusters.

3Ouarzazate
We will arrive in Ouarzazate and will visit Taourirte Kasbahs. Lunch ( At leisure ) before we continue to Zagora.

4Zagora
We will cross Ouarzazate and continue to our main destination, the Zagora Desert, where you will change the vehicle for a camel ride in the sand dunes. You will have the chance to witness a majestic view of the sunset. Once you arrive at the Zagora desert bivouac, the staff will welcome you and show you your tents. Then you will come together for a mint tea where you will have the opportunity to get to know other travelers. You will spend the night in a desert camp contemplating a black sky with countless stars and thus easily distinguish the constellations. After a good homemade dinner, you will gather around the fire to enjoy a session of singing, dancing, laughing and sharing beautiful moments. Dinner and Overnight in Zagora.

5Zagora
Today after your breakfast, you will cross the volcanic peaks of the Anti Atlas Mountains driving southeast across lunatic landscapes past oases located in the middle of nowhere.

6Ouarzazate
You will stop at Ouarzazate, Take a break to have lunch, then change the group to join the group of Merzouga and continue the 4days desert tour crossing various wonderful places. Make some stops to enjoy the charm of Morocco.

7Boumalne Dades
Early afternoon, we will drive along the Dades Valley where you’ll drive past some magnificent fortified Kasbahs and Berber Villages, with the sunset as a backdrop to Dades Gorges to marvel at the scenery and take some photos. Dinner and overnight at your Dads Valley hotel.

9Todra Gorge
Then we will drive along the 1001 Kasbahs past rivers, oases and fortified Kasbahs to Tinghir, where you can enjoy a walk in the oasis along Todgha river bank to Todrha canyons where you will have lunch.

10Merzouga Desert
On arrival, you will change your camel transportation and enjoy a camel ride in the dunes of Erg Chebbi to witness one of the most sought after views on the planet: the spectacular sunset Erg Chebbi on the changing color sand dunes. Return to your camp and get ready for a delicious Moroccan dinner under the stars while entertaining local nomads playing drums. Do not miss the constellation of stars in the clear sky before going to bed.

12Ouarzazate
