Wrocław is defined not only by its market square but also by beautiful, historic sites along the Oder River. View the major landmarks of Wrocław’s Old Town from the river. Take a stroll across the bridges and footbridges spanning the river and connecting Wrocław’s many islands. See the University, Cathedral Island, and the city’s most beautiful bridges—the Old Cathedral Island Bridge, the Imperial Bridge, and the University Bridges.

We begin our walk at the main square, then head towards the Oder—a journey of about ten minutes. We start at the University of Wrocław, located right by the river near the University Bridges. From there, we walk along a lovely, shaded boulevard by the Oder towards Cathedral Island.

We cross the Sand Bridge and head to the first viewpoint. The view is breathtaking; in the distance, you can see Wrocław’s most beautiful bridge—the Imperial Bridge—and the Wrocław Cathedral. We then step onto the islands of the Old Town—starting with Cathedral Island...
