A site of historical significance connected to the early exploration of Bruny Island. The Bruny Island Bread Fridges are located here, a Bruny Island institution where fresh bread is sold on the honour system from an unmanned roadside fridge. Own cost. 5Cape Bruny Lighthouse Tours
The centrepiece of the tour. Guided tour of Cape Bruny Lighthouse, built in 1836, heritage-listed and only accessible through Bruny Island Safaris. Climb 72 steps (with handrail) to the balcony for views across the Southern Ocean and cape. The original lens, installed in 1903, is still preserved on site. Children under 5 may visit the museum and walk at the base under adult supervision but cannot climb the stairs.

- Wear comfortable, closed-toe walking shoes.

- Bring a reusable water bottle. Water is available on the bus for refills throughout the day.
- Dietary requirements must be noted at time of booking.
- Children under 5 cannot climb Cape Bruny Lighthouse stairs. They may visit the Cape Bruny Lighthouse Museum and walk inside at the base under adult supervision.
