Watch the sun set from the summit of Mount Etna on an evening tour from Taormina! After exploring the area around the fiery volcano at approximately 9,000 feet (2,800 meters) on a walking tour, gaze out over the Sicilian hills as the sun goes down. Before returning to Taormina, stop at a traditional restaurant in the volcano’s foothills for dinner and drinks at your own expense.

Out from Porta Messina Arch follow the Via Pirandello and you will find the bus terminal on the right hand. Pick up is also available along the route, please contact us for info.
What to expect
Ascent to the summit area by jeep. Take a walk escorted by the Alpine Guides and listen to their explanation.
Admire the sunset from a safe distance.
Return to 1.900m for an optional dinner.
