Your adventure kicks off bright and early with a departure from Alice Springs or Yulara (Ayers Rock Airport), heading straight for the legendary Uluru. The Journey starts with an Aussie road trip all the way from Alice Springs with quick breaks at outback stations like Curtin Springs.
Then, it’s on to Uluru for a tasty lunch and a warm welcome as we meet up with guests arriving at Ayers Rock Airport.
Next, dive deep into the heart of the land’s rich culture at the Aboriginal Cultural Centre, where you’ll uncover powerful stories, ancient traditions, and the true significance of this sacred place.
After soaking up this cultural magic, prepare to be wowed by a guided walk around the base of Uluru—one of the world’s most iconic natural wonders.
As you stroll, your guide will reveal the secrets behind ancient rock art, sacred waterholes like Mutitjulu, and the legendary Aboriginal tales of Kuniya the python and Liru the venomous snake.
The journey continues to Kantju Gorge, home to Central Australia’s tallest waterfall (when the rains have been kind) and mysterious sacred caves that once served as a natural pantry for the local Aboriginal people.
As the day winds down, we soak up one of the planet’s most jaw-dropping sunsets over Uluru before heading to camp for a delicious dinner. Today is a picture-perfect moment you’ll want to treasure forever!
Sunrise seekers, get ready to rise and shine! Your early wake-up call leads to an absolutely unforgettable moment as we kick off the day before dawn to catch the spectacular sunrise at Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park. Watch in awe as the first golden rays light up the mighty Uluru, painting the landscape with magic.
Next, we venture to Kata Tjuta (The Olgas) — a stunning collection of dome-shaped rock formations that feel straight out of another world.
Lace up your boots for either the thrilling Valley of the Winds or the scenic Walpa Gorge walk, both packed with jaw-dropping views and moments that’ll leave you breathless.
After soaking in all the wonder, we’ll head back to camp for a well-deserved bite of lunch, before journeying on to the Kings Canyon region. Along the way, a fun surprise stop at Mount Connor, aka “False Uluru,” where you can snap some photos and stretch your legs.
Arrive just in time to witness yet another mind-blowing outback sunset. Cap off the day with a cozy traditional campfire dinner, serving up an authentic taste of the Australian outback under the starry sky — pure magic!
After an early start, get ready to be blown away as we head to Kings Canyon, where towering 100-meter cliffs and stunning sandstone formations create a landscape like no other. The famous Rim Walk is the crown jewel of Watarrka National Park, offering jaw-dropping panoramic views that will leave you speechless.
Along the way, your guide will share fascinating tales about the canyon’s ancient geology, unique plants and animals, and all the hidden gems that make this place so incredible. We return to camp around lunchtime to refuel before heading off on the last part of our journey.
On the way back to Alice Springs, buckle up for a scenic drive through the rugged Australian outback. Depending on the conditions, we’ll either cruise along the main highway or take the adventurous Mereenie Loop or Ernest Giles Road—each route packed with wild beauty and unforgettable sights. Expect to arrive in Alice Springs between 6:00 pm and 6:30 pm, ready to share your epic outback stories and cherish the memories from this incredible journey. *Alternatively, those wishing to return to Yulara or Ayers Rock will need to advise us at the time of booking so we can arrange you a transfer shuttle which gets back to Yulara around 4:30pm.
