Drive uphill on winding roads to the renowned Tizi Ntichka pass before arriving at Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, the day's first important tourist stop. Ait Ben Haddou, a Berber walled town, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned as a location for big Hollywood epics. The village was utilized to film the films Kingdom of Heaven, Lawrence of Arabia, and Gladiator, to mention a few.
