This is one of Nepal’s best community echo trekking route which falls under the world-famous Annapurna conservation area and fits under the Sustainable & Responsible Tourism model of Trekking route. Which is also called ‘Carbon Neutral trek’ which focused on waste management with in the villages and to provide free and safe drinking water to all the villagers from the income of Tourist accommodation at the community Echo Lodges . During your Trek, you will be staying in community lodges (Homestays) operated by the local villagers of Parbat and Myagdi districts, a perfect combination to get in touch with local culture, rural lifestyle and interact with Nepal’s ethnic Magar people. The money spent on accommodation and food on these community homestays will not only go to lodge owners but some part of the fund goes in helping to sustain and development of community schools and hospitals which falls under this area.

On first day of Trek, we will drive from beautiful Pokhara city to Galeshwar which is situated at an altitude of 1170 metres from the sea level and the drive will continue along the white pristine Kali Gandaki River for 3 and half hours. After the lunch at Galeshwar our Trekking starts for another 3 hours and we will reach at Banskharka village (1525 M). On the way, you can see the Mt. Nilgiri (7061 M) over the north and you will pass the suspension bridge over the world deepest Kali Gandaki Gorge. We will stay overnight at community homestay which was run by the local villagers.
The early morning view from the Banskharka is stunning and we will be headed to Nangi village after the Breakfast. It will be an approximate 5-6 hours walk to reach Nangi Village which is situated at 2300 M from the sea level. This village is also itself very famous because of fellow social Entrepreneur Mr. Mahabir Pun who had developed his village through the ‘Wirless internet technology and (Awarded as a Magsaysay award considered as a Nobel Peace prize of Asia) other social income generating projects. We will have lunch at Danda Kateri and during the Trek you will encounter with beautiful Annapurna range, local ethnic Magars culture, community funded schools, organic farms, Paper making projects from local plants, Medicinal Nursery and other various income generating projects. we will stay at community echo lodges this overnight as well.
Mohare Danda peak is the highest elevation to this Trek which is situated at 3313 m. It will take around 5-6 hours to reach Mohare Danda from Nangi and this journey is full of beautiful sceneries of Annapurna Ranges such as Mt. Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), South Annapurna, Tukuche, Dhaulagiri and so on and which goes through the Oak and Rhododendrons forests. This is truly off beaten trail where very few trekkers go and enjoy this beauty while meeting smiling villagers who treats and welcome you kindly. The stunning sunset over the Mohare Danda is a great experience to view. We will stay at community echo lodges this night with organic food.
Early morning sunrise experience from the Mohare Danda is also things to do on the list where, the Himalayan ranges outspread over greater landscape horizon. The beauty of this landscape is beyond the imagination. After 6-7 hours of downhill walk you will be at beautiful stone thatched Magars village Tilkot situated at 2300 m.
Sunrise from Tilkot is also fantastic scene to view and colourful stone houses on the village are very attractive to see. After 2 hours of downhill trek we will reach Tipling and we will have lunch at this Place. We coming back to Pokhara through the drive and overnight at Pokhara
