Basílica Sé de Nossa Senhora da Assunção is the true name of Évora Cathedral or Sé of Évora (it can be called both ways) and is the largest medieval cathedral in Portugal. In the monument you can find the altar of Nossa Senhora do Anjo, the Virgin Mary and the Angel Gabriel, the pulpit and the pipe organ from the Renaissance period, and also the chapels, marks the transition from the Romantic to the Gothic style. Part of the Convent and Church of São Francisco de Évora is the Bones Chapel, one of the best known monuments in Évora.
