A population of about 38million people, Kuala Lumpur being the capital has a population of about 3.5million is a multi-racial country & with many different religions. Islam is the majority in the country at 60%. The beginning of Kuala Lumpur was due to tin being discovered in the district of Ampang. Yap Ah Loy took advantage of the existence of the black gold that led to the rise of a small township which today is the capital of Malaysia. The colonial buildings, its modern buildings & the green parts of the city is known as the “Garden in the City”, Malaysia is 4YOU. A visit to the early days of Malacca, where traders change hands buying the wares and the narrow horse-drawn carriage roads that made Jonker’s Street famous. This port where “East Meets West” was also a battered city where it saw Portuguese (1511) and Dutch (1641) invasion followed by the British East India Company (1824) taking charge of this glorious Malacca while the Chinese came in 1409 to make ties with the Sultanate.
