1Museo Archeologico Nazionale Di Paestum
Departure is from Sorrento or Naples, depending on the address provided by the client. You will travel comfortably to the Paestum Archaeological Area, one of Southern Italy’s most impressive ancient sites. Here you will admire the remarkably well-preserved Greek temples of Hera, Neptune, and Athena, dating back to the 6th and 5th centuries BC, along with the ancient Roman forum and archaeological remains that tell the story of Magna Graecia. Please note that this service includes private transportation, waiting time in Paestum, and return to the same pick-up point in the afternoon. The guide service is not included and is offered as an additional service that we do not directly provide. If you would like a licensed guide, simply send us a message after booking and we will arrange one for you. The cost is €140 for 2 hours. Entrance tickets are not included and can be purchased directly on site.

Paestum is also famous as the homeland of Buffalo Mozzarella, one of the most renowned local specialties in Italy. After visiting the archaeological ruins, your driver will take you to a selected local venue where you will have the opportunity to enjoy lunch and taste the authentic Mozzarella di Bufala Campana, produced in the surrounding countryside. Please note that lunch is not included in the price and will be paid directly on site.

After visiting the archaeological ruins and enjoying lunch, you will relax on the return journey to the same location where you were picked up in the morning. The drive back takes approximately two hours, depending on traffic conditions, allowing you to comfortably conclude your day trip.
