Join us for a captivating 90-minute walking tour of Trastevere at twilight. We’ll meet at 8:00 PM on the historic Ponte Sisto bridge, where you can enjoy views of the illuminated Tiber River and the Roman skyline. From there, we’ll explore Trastevere, known for its rich history, food, and vibrant nightlife. As we stroll through cobbled streets, our guide will share stories about the area’s transformation from a working-class neighborhood to a bohemian hotspot. We’ll visit Piazza Santa Maria in Trastevere and admire the beautiful Basilica, known for its stunning facade and mosaics. Enjoy the lively atmosphere often filled with street performers for a taste of Roman nightlife. Finally, we will head to Isola Tiberina, Rome’s only island, crossing the ancient Ponte Fabricio. Surrounded by the calm Tiber waters, we’ll reflect on the charm of Trastevere and the beauty of Rome at night.
