El Penedès wine country is one of the oldest wine-making regions in Europe. El Penedès is world-famous for producing wines of exceptional quality, especially cava (sparkling wine). Hike around the vineyards of this beautiful Mediterranean countryside. Journey through a landscape dotted with farmhouses and wineries. Learn about the area’s different varieties of grapes, traditions, and history. Enjoy some typical Catalan snacks while enjoying beautiful views of the iconic mountain of Montserrat.

Visit a family-owned organic winery. Take a guided cellar tour and learn about the winery's history and its elaboration process. Taste three wines from a selection of red, white, and sparkling wines accompanied by Catalan snacks, such as fuet, cheese, and breadsticks.
