Mumbai is famous across India for its outstanding street food, but discovering the best hygienic eateries in a big city is not easy.
To start your food trail, visit Mumbai’s most famous beach, Chowpatty, where you'll try an array of Mumbai’s best vegetarian street food while watching the sunset. Taste classics such as Pani Puri, Dahi Puri, & Pav Bhaji.
Next, take a taxi to Bhuleshwar a Gujarati & Rajasthani area with local specialties such as Kesari ukala (saffron milk), kachori/sabudana wada, pudla & masala dosa. Walk through its busy streets known as khao gallis-(eating lanes).
Finally, walk into the Mohommad Ali Road area. In this predominantly Muslim neighborhood, get immersed in local culture and the food. Here in the khao gallis you will find mainly non-vegetarian options such as Chicken kebabs, Chicken rolls, and Baida rotis.
And don’t worry, we haven’t forgotten those of you with a sweet tooth (and with space in your stomach)! We’ll eat Rabdi with Gulab Jamun, Jalebi and Kulfi.
There are four entrances to Churchgate Station, including two subways. Once inside the station, go to "Wheeler" Convenience Store about 30 metres before the platforms.
Zam Zam is on the corner of Mohammed Ali Road and Merchant Road. Afterwards your tour guide will help you with transport, such as a taxi, to wherever you want to go!
Visit Mumbai's most famous beach and have a delicious array of snacks such as pav bhaji, pani/sev/dahi/bhel puri and kulfi while watching the sunset over the Arabian Sea.
Main market for household items at wholesale rates. Also a large variety of street shopping. Pass by through some famous Hindu Temples like Mumbadevi and Jain Mandir
