Explore the beautiful Patagonia full of flora and fauna, travel on a ferry and meet the King Penguin Colony, also discovering the Tierra del Fuego; origin of the Selknam culture. After crossing the Strait of Magellan and visiting Porvenir, we will go 114 km to the east, where the King Penguin Park is located, a unique sighting spot we will be able to observe a group of about 40 specimens of this species at close range. After 1 hour in the place we will continue our trip observing the helmet of the Estancia Josefina. We will also visit the Cerro Sombrero village. Finally we will cross again the Strait of Magellan.
It is important to note that the times are estimated, they may vary depending on weather conditions and ferry schedules for navigation.

1Tierra del Fuego
Discover the remote beauty of southern Patagonia on this full-day adventure to Tierra del Fuego, home to the unique King Penguin colony. This journey combines scenic landscapes, cultural landmarks, and unforgettable wildlife encounters at the edge of the world. Your day begins with an early morning pick-up from your accommodation in Punta Arenas (between 07:00 and 07:40 hrs). You will travel to the ferry crossing at Tres Puentes to sail across the Strait of Magellan toward Tierra del Fuego. Upon arrival, you will visit the charming town of Porvenir, including its main square, where you will learn about the history and culture of this remote region. Along the route, there will be a stop for lunch (not included), allowing you to relax and enjoy the Patagonian surroundings.

2Tierra del Fuego
The highlight of the day is a visit to King Penguin Park, where you can observe these majestic birds in their natural habitat—one of the very few colonies outside Antarctica. In the afternoon, the journey continues with a return ferry crossing via Primera Angostura, followed by a stop at the historic San Gregorio Ranch, known for its rustic architecture and significance in regional sheep farming history. The tour concludes with a drop-off at your hotel in Punta Arenas around 21:00 hrs.
