Upon arrival at the airport, our driver will meet you and drive you toward Sigiriya. Along the way, you'll stop at the Golden Cave Temple in Dambulla to explore the caves and admire the Buddha statues. Later in the afternoon or evening, depending on the elephants’ location that day, you'll enjoy a 4x4 safari at one of the nearby parks, such as Minneriya, Kaudulla, or Hurulu Eco National Park, to spot wildlife. 2Kandy
Rise early to climb Sigiriya Rock and capture photos before the heat sets in. Return for breakfast at your hotel, then drive 2.5 hours to Kandy, stopping at Nalanda Gedige and Matale Spice Garden along the way. In Kandy, enjoy a city tour including a Hindu temple visit. This day centers on traveling to Ella by train, with timing depending on your selected departure. If the morning train around 9:00 AM is available, board for a scenic journey through tea plantations and misty mountains from Nanu Oya to Ella. If the afternoon train before 1:30 PM is booked, spend the morning exploring Nuwara Eliya, visiting Gregory Lake and The Grand Hotel, before heading to the station. Upon arriving in Ella in the late afternoon or early evening, hike up Little Adam's Peak to enjoy stunning hill country views as the light begins to fade. Overnight at Mirissa.
