Cooking Class Taormina
For some years, the restaurant has offered the possibility to take Cooking Classes and attend a Pizza Making Course at our restaurants in Taormina. Courses are aimed at both beginners and experts, and provide the opportunity for entertaining experiences, which are both educational and unique to their kind. How to become a Chef ? Classes teach students how to make Sicilian Food, Meat dishes, Seafood dishes, Fresh Pasta, Sicilian Macaroni, Ravioli, Tortelloni, Tagliatelle, and how to prepare the Dough, Pizza, and Bread. Cooking lessons begin with a visit to the local Fish Markets, guided by the refined expertise of the Chef, demonstrating the best fish to buy on the day and bring with you to prepare with your own hands.

What to expect
• Meeting at Porta Messina Restaurant 10.00 o’clock and visit to Taormina’s Daily Food Market, where you will learn how to choose the freshest products of the day (fish, fruit and vegetables)
• Back to the restaurant and coffee break
• Consignment of Apron, embroidered with our logo and start of the course
• Home Made Bread & Pasta preparation
• After Bread Cooking, Tasting of different types of Bread, Cheese and Salami with Sicilian Wines
• Typical Sicilian Dishes preparation, followed by the Chefs help and by our staff
• Lunch with more or less 4-6 dishes, cooked by attendees of our course with the help of our Chef
• Consignment of official Certificates
