First of all, this tour is for people who would like to enjoy Sumo tournament fully and includes A-ranked 2nd-floor Sumo ticket, offering an exceptionally exclusive experience, typically reserved only for citizens of Japan. Through this tour, we walk around a city of Ryogoku, a sacred place for sumo, and will take you to several places where our guide give you cultural and historical tips to enjoy the Sumo tournament at last.
We will start explaining with the basic rules of sumo and the relationship between Ryogoku and sumo. Learn Sumo tips to enjoy the tournament fully from a local guide, and enter the Sumo Kokugikan hall around 2:30 pm and enjoy watching the sumo match (ends at 6pm)
What's Included
Meeting and pickup
Meet in front of the Seven-Eleven next to Ryogoku Edo NOREN, just outside the JR Ryogoku Station West Exit (not the Toei Oedo Line). Your guide will be holding a red/orange “MagicalTrip” sign.
Tour itself ends around 3pm, but the sumo tournament will end around 6pm, and the later the time, the stronger the matches between Sumo wrestlers. Please help this information for planning your schedule.
