Most Japanese people experience sumo only through TV or at stadium matches, and very few ever see a wrestler’s morning training. This tour offers a rare chance to watch authentic sumo practice up close and feel the intensity and discipline of their daily routine.
Witness the powerful training that shapes sumo wrestlers’ bodies and spirit, and gain insight into what a sumo wrestler’s day and competitions are like. If you’re lucky, you may even take photos with the wrestlers after practice.
Your guide will explain the fascinating world of sumo in detail, and a special sumo information document is included to deepen your understanding.

Meeting and pickup
In front of Oshiage Bus/Taxi Terminal on the ground. Please note that the meeting place is on the ground. From the meeting spot, you can see the sign of Uniqro, LIFE, and Sizzler. The guide will be holding a red/orange sign saying "Magical Trip"

- The sumo stable is often visited by various tour companies, so seating will be FIRST COME FIRST SERVE. Late visitors may be seated 2-3 rows from the front. We appreciate your understanding.
- Caution: All areas in the sumo stable are off-limits, except for the tatami (straw flooring) areas.
- Summer in Japan is very hot and humid, so we recommend that you bring water and wear a hat to prevent heat stroke.
