Begin with a pick-up from your hotel at Pokhara at around 7 am. Drive to Phedi, marking the start of our trek.
Embark on a 3-hour trek from Phedi to Dhampus, culminating at the Australian Base Camp.
Embark on a rejuvenating short trek to Australian Camp, a 1-night 2-day escape from the daily grind. This trek offers a refreshing nature walk, allowing you to immerse yourself in the local village culture and traverse the terraced fields of Dhampus, Kande, and Pothana. Australian Camp, originally known as “Thulo Kharka” (which translates to 'large pasture'), was once a seasonal grazing ground for buffalo and cattle from neighboring villages like Dhampus. Throughout this trek, marvel at the stunning vistas of the Annapurna Range, with iconic peaks like Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), Annapurna South Hiuchuli, Annapurna II and IV, and Lamjung Himal gracing the horizon. Spend the night at a teahouse in the Australian Base Camp.
Awake early to witness the sunrise painting the majestic Himalayas. Immerse yourself in the serene landscape and capture memorable photographs. Conclude your adventure with a hike back to Phedi. Receive a drop-off service back in Pokhara by noon.
