When you step off your cruise ship, head outside the cruise terminal. Our hosts wait outside the security gates with a sign VEXPERIO. Please note: we do NOT meet at the parking lot directly next to the cruise ships. Please head outside the security gate - it is about a 3-minute walk, 1000ft / 300m.

Your journey starts right at the Le Havre cruise port, where our friendly team will greet you and guide you to a comfortable, air-conditioned coach. Designed with your relaxation in mind, the bus provides a smooth and scenic ride lasting approximately 3 to 3.5 hours. As you travel through Normandy’s picturesque landscapes, your guide will bring the region to life with fascinating stories about its history, culture, and landmarks. When Mont Saint-Michel comes into view, its dramatic rise from the tidal bay will take your breath away. Known as the "Wonder of the West," this iconic island commune offers a scene unlike anything else in the world. From the parking area, you'll take a complimentary shuttle (Passeur) to the island entrance. This convenient 15-20 minute transfer includes a brief walk to the shuttle stop, and the vehicles are wheelchair accessible, ensuring a smooth experience for all visitors. Begin your visit with a guided walking tour of the lower village. Wander the cobblestone streets of the Grand Rue, admire the towering medieval ramparts, and take in panoramic views of the bay. Your guide will share insights into the island’s historical importance, its unique architecture, and its enduring significance as a pilgrimage site. This portion of the tour is designed to be accessible for all fitness levels, requiring no major climbing.

After the guided tour, enjoy free time to explore Mont Saint-Michel at your own pace. Guests have the option to: Visit the Abbey: For those who wish to explore the iconic abbey, you can climb the 350 steps to the top of the rock and tour this architectural masterpiece. The abbey features Gothic cloisters, panoramic views of the tidal flats, and intricate details that tell the story of its spiritual and historical significance. Please note that the abbey entrance ticket (€16) is not included in the tour price and can be purchased on-site. Relax in the Lower Village: For those who prefer a more leisurely experience, explore the charming shops, photograph the stunning architecture, or dine at a local restaurant offering authentic French cuisine. Savor Normandy’s regional specialties, including savory crêpes, fresh seafood, and buttery pastries. Your guide will be available to answer questions and offer recommendations during your free time.

4Le Havre
At the designated time, regroup with your guide and return to the shuttle stop for the 15-20 minute transfer back to the parking area. After a memorable visit to Mont Saint-Michel, settle back into your comfortable coach for the return journey to Le Havre. Your guide will be on hand to answer any final questions or share more about the Normandy region. The drive back includes a short rest stop to ensure your comfort. Arrive at the Le Havre cruise port well before your ship’s departure, leaving plenty of time to board and relax.
