Walking along its quaint winding streets, the tour starts directly in the heart of Montmartre. We will take you past rue des Abreuvoirs, the most beautiful street in Paris, find out about the origins of Montmartre and see la Maison Rose, an iconic café celebrated for its picturesque pink facade and artistic history. We will also see some of its more famous monuments like Place du Tertre with its artists, Clos Montmartre Vineyard and of course, the Sacré Coeur Basilica overlooking the City!
Our Montmartre Walking Tour meets outside the bistro Chez Ginette, 101 Rue Caulaincourt, Paris 75018. The bistro is directly beside the exit of the Metro line 12 (Lamarck – Caulaincourt). As you exit the station, simply head up the stairs, the café is directly on your left.
To conclude your tour, you’ll finish in front of the iconic Moulin Rouge, at the historic entrance into Paris. From here, your guide will direct you to the nearest metro, to some local food recommendations in SOPI or if you would like to go back up the hill, to the little train & funicular options.
