Discover, through the daily tour, the history of the city of Pompeii, swept away by the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD. Buried under layers of debris, ashes and mud, there are innumerable cultural riches, heritage of an ancient civilization. Unesco heritage, the archaeological site of Pompeii will show you all the secrets of ancient Roman life.
The tour offers, on request, a shuttle service from Naples or Salerno, every day. Passenger pick-up will be provided from scheduled meeting points. The trip to Pompeii will last about 30 minutes.
Our archaeological guide will welcome you at the meeting point in Pompeii and help you with the purchase of tickets for the archaeological site of Pompeii. Our guide will be able to provide you with the main and most interesting information about Pompeii, he will show you the most influential places, such as the thermal baths, the frescoes of the Lupanare brothel.

- The tour inside the ruins lasts about 1 hour and a half / 2 hours.
- Your exact route will depend on the crowds and weather conditions.
- During the low season the live guide is included only if the group reach the minimum of 6 pax, otherwise the tour will include audioguides
- The tour in the chosen language is considered confirmed by a minimum of 6 participants. If the minimum number is not reached, there will be the possibility to choose between an audio-guided tour in the selected language or a guided tour in English.
- PAY ATTENTION: entrance tickets to the Pompeii Ruins are nominative, therefore it is mandatory for all passengers to show their identity document at the entrance to the archaeological site. Campania Overland is not responsible for failure to enter Pompeii due to lack of identity documents
