    Elephanta Caves

    Your journey begins when your escort meets you at the designated pickup point. From there, you will be accompanied to the ferry terminal, where both you and your escort will board the boat to Elephanta Island. During this scenic ferry ride across the Arabian Sea, you can enjoy views of Mumbai’s skyline and the iconic Gateway of India. On arrival at Elephanta Island, your knowledgeable guide will join you and lead you through the UNESCO World Heritage–listed Elephanta Caves. Inside, you will explore magnificent rock-cut temples and intricately carved sculptures, while your guide explains the fascinating history, mythology, and symbolism of the Hindu deities, particularly Lord Shiva, depicted in the caves.
