Georgia has been the silk road country and the fact that it is located on the edge of the Europe and Asia means that Georgian culture, cousine and everything else is the best blend of several civilizations with local, indigenous culture. Our roundtrip Georgia tour starts in the capital city, continues in the oldest winemaking region – Kakheti. After degustation of Georgian wines, you will travel to Mtskheta, an ancient capital of Georgia, and then to mountainous town Kazbegi. After mountains, travel to the 1st Millenia BC and explore carved caves of Uplistsikhe. You will also take a tour in Western Georgia, visit Kutaisi and UNESCO World heritage monuments as well as Martvili and Okatse Canyons. The roundtrip tour’s last destination region is Samtskhe-Javakheti where you will enjoy with medieval fortresses, castles and cave monasteries.

    City tour in Tbilisi - A tour in the old town of Tbilisi suggests visitors an introductory to Georgian culture and history. Visit the ancient neighborhoods of Tbilisi where you can explore the Sulphur baths and narrow streets with beautiful 19th-century houses with wooden balconies. Explore ancient and medieval architecture including churches, museums, houses, and fortresses.

    Depart to eastern region of Georgia Kakheti which is well-known wine making region with outstanding cultural heritage. Visit Qvevri Wine Museum and Winery Khareba which keeps its wine in the cut off tunnel in the Caucasus mountains range. Explore historical architectural complex such as “Batonis Tsikhe” ( a Fortress of Master) in Telavi, Ikalto monastery, Alaverdi Cathedral, and Gremi complex.

    Continue the trip into the Kakheti and visit Sighnagi, also known as a city of love. Here you can walk on some parts of the largest defensive walls in Georgia (4 km long), narrow streets with 19th c old houses with wooden balconies. Then depart to David Gareja monastery complex and visit the medieval age cave complex cut off since the 6th century.

From Okatse Canyon travel to the Martvili Canyon and take a boat tour into the canyon.

    In the morning depart to Vardzia and explore its cave monastery complex which was cut off in 12th centuries and now includes more than 600 caves. Afterward, travel back to Tbilisi. On the way, explore Javakheti nature. Stop at the largest lake – Paravani and visit the Foka convent.
