Are you looking for incredible trekking in the Kathmandu Valley? Yes, indeed! Some of the finest views of the magnificent Himalayas can be had right from the rim of the Kathmandu Valley. 

The Kathmandu skyline trek experience is a short, moderate trek that combines incredible sunrises and sunsets with wonderful mountain views and local culture. It is close to Kathmandu, yet it will seem like a million miles away from the hustle and bustle of Nepal’s capital city.  It is not a high altitude trek, yet it features everything you could imagine in just four wonderful days.

This trek ideal for beginners and/or those wanting to see great views of the mighty Himalayas. Just because it is close to Kathmandu doesn’t mean it isn’t worth your time. Missing it could easily be something you might regret!

    The Kathmandu Skyline Trek starts after breakfast with a 90-minute drive to the quaint village of Shankhu. As you leave behind the busy streets of Kathmandu, the peaceful countryside of the valley unfolds, offering scenic views of fields and farms dotted with villages where time seems to have stood still.

    Nagarkot Hiking

    Your trek begins in Shankhu, leading you uphill through terraced farmlands toward Nagarkot, located on the northeastern edge of the valley. In Nagarkot, you’ll stay in a comfortable hotel where you can enjoy a breathtaking sunset over the Himalayas.
