In the morning after breakfast, leave for the full game drive with a packed lunch. Animals commonly found here include lion, eland, hartebeest, buffalo, wildebeest, giraffe, zebra and elephant. Wild dog can be seen in packs here. The open horizons and abundant wildlife of the Mkata Floodplain, the popular centerpiece of Mikumi, draw frequent comparisons to the more famous Serengeti Plains. Early morning go for a morning walking safari into the park escorted by an armed ranger. Spend your time identify different animals, plants and birds.
