Relaxed Kayak Experience on Lake Brienz

This relaxed, guided kayaking experience is all about enjoying Lake Brienz in an effortless way. You will paddle stable, easy-to-handle sit-on-top kayaks close to the shoreline near our base in Bönigen, staying near land and moving at a calm, comfortable pace under constant supervision. It is designed as a fun one-hour session rather than tour, with the focus on easy paddling, a bit of splashing around, and soaking up the scenery without the time commitment of a longer trip. It is a perfect choice if you want to try kayaking for the first time, get out on the water in a simple and safe format, and take home great photos as a souvenir of your time on the lake.

Non-swimmers are welcome, as life jackets and swimming aids are provided, and we stay close to shore throughout. Families can also join, with children aged 5 and above welcome to participate; children aged 5 to 8 sit in a double kayak with an adult companion. Overall, the difficulty level is easy and beginner-friendly, using stable sit-on-top kayaks and a relaxed pace so you can feel comfortable, confident, and fully enjoy Lake Brienz even with no prior kayaking experience.
