Nagarjung Day Hiking is probably the most popular hiking route around the Kathmandu Valley. The easy and gentle route with picturesque views is what attracts people every year. Along with the view of the Kathmandu Valley, you can also enjoy the Langtang and Jugal range. The hike also explores the esteemed Jamacho Monastery which sits at the top of Nagarjung Hill. All in all, the Nagarjung Day Hiking is an introduction to the natural and cultural beauty of the hill station to the north of Kathmandu.

Firstly, the Nagarjung Day Hiking Trip begins from Kathmandu with a drive to Budhanilkantha Temple. You can also explore this Hindu temple premise which is also the starting point on the hike. The hike starts with a gradual ascent and gets fairly steeper on few sections of the hike. You will continue through lush forests within the Shivapuri National Park. Also, you can sight a wide variety of flora and fauna which reside within the national park.

What to expect

Morning 7:30 AM: After Breakfast at Hotel, start short drive through Balaju Chowk and start hiking to Jamacho through the forest and we have to climb around 4 hours to get on top then see the view of Kathmandu city and take photos. After enjoying the attractive view come down to the same way to the starting point and take the private car to the hotel.

7 a.m: Wake up and ready for a day excursion.

7:30 a.m: Having breakfast at the hotel for day hiking Energy.

8 a.m: we start to drive to the Hiking Starting Point.

8:30 a.m: we start Hiking which takes about 4 hours to reach on the top.

12:30 p.m: After reaching on the top we will have a magnificent view of Langtang Ranges and Kathmandu Valley.

1:30 p.m: After Beautiful and incredible views from the top, we will come down which takes 2 and a half hours.

4:00: p.m: Drive to Hotel
