    You will arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, which sits at an altitude of 1,400 meters (4,593 feet). Upon landing, a representative will welcome you and assist with your transfer to your hotel. Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal, is bustling with cultural landmarks, historical sites, and vibrant markets. Though you won’t see the Himalayas directly from the airport, if the weather is clear, you might catch glimpses of the snow-capped peaks from certain viewpoints in the city. The rest of the day is at your leisure to relax after your journey or explore the city at your own pace.

You’ll explore Manang, renowned for its "mountain views" and culturally rich surroundings, including the Braga Monastery, one of the oldest in the region. Afterward, you’ll embark on a short 4-mile ride to Khangsar, taking about an hour. This brief journey to Khangsar, a quaint village, provides stunning views of Annapurna and Tilicho Peak, setting the stage for the trek to Tilicho Lake.
